The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) announced the nominees in all 13 categories of the 2024 CAPA Marquee Awards presented by American Electric Power Foundation on Apr. 30.


The WKHS Theatre's production of "Into the Woods" earned two nominees and two semi-finalists.


Nominees for the 2004 CAPA Marquee Awards are:


  • OUTSTANDING STUDENT ORCHESTRA

Worthington Kilbourne High School, Into the Woods


  • BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE

Ethan Bevington, Worthington Kilbourne High School, Narrator/Mysterious Man in Into the Woods


Additionally, two members of the production were named semi-finalists in acting categories.


  • SEMI-FINALIST FOR BEST ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE

    Sadie Turner, Worthington Kilbourne High School, The Witch in Into the Woods


  • SEMI-FINALIST FOR BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE

    Eric Lavery, Worthington Kilbourne High School, The Wolf/Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods


The CAPA Marquee Awards will culminate with a red-carpet ceremony and student showcase at the Ohio Theatre on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 7:30 pm, at which the winners of each category will be announced.

 
 
 

Our WKHS Theatre Company is so excited to perform "Into the Woods" at the Ohio Thespian State Conference this weekend! We will be performing the whole show this Sunday at 10:00 am. All of the company is proud to represent our theatre at conference for the first time as performers.
